She set the stage on fire and galvanised the fourth edition of Femmes S’en Mêlent in March 2001 (accompanied by Ikue Mori, DJ Olive, Jim O’Rourke and with the exceptional presence of Brigitte Fontaine and Areski), giving the festival a new lease of life over several decades.

23 years later, Kim Gordon is once again kind enough to return to Les Femmes S’en Mêlent this autumn for her only date in France.
